The story of ADCSI begins with its founder,

Rick Reyes, who brings both his personal and professional experience to this work.

Reyes was led to this work through his own journey with addiction and has since amassed over 20 years of experience in the field. Soon after entering recovery in 1993, Reyes became a drug and alcohol counselor. Over the years, Reyes has served in many different capacities, including work as a resident out-patient counselor and as a motivational speaker. While working in gang and drug prevention services, Reyes partnered with renowned organizations like Girls in Gangs, Caught in the Crossfire, and Homeboy Industries. Throughout his career, Reyes has always seen himself as a teacher, which inspired him to partner with his wife Adriana to found ADCSI. Reyes saw an opportunity to provide experience and expertise for aspiring counselors at an affordable price by utilizing technology and innovation, and ADCSI was born. Since 2008, ADCSI has served as the starting point for people looking to make an impact in their communities through substance abuse disorder counseling.
